All-Butter Pie Crust
Ingredients
• All-purpose flour – 2½ cups
• Cold butter – 1 cup (cubed)
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Sugar – 1 tbsp
• Ice water – 6–8 tbsp
Method
1. Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
2. Add cold butter and rub until crumbly.
3. Add ice water gradually and form dough.
4. Wrap and chill 30 minutes.
5. Roll out and place in pie pan.
Graham Cracker Crust
Ingredients
• Graham cracker crumbs – 1½ cups
• Sugar – ¼ cup
• Melted butter – ½ cup
Method
1. Mix crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
2. Press mixture into pie pan.
3. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes.
4. Cool before filling.
Oreo Cookie Crust
Ingredients
• Oreo cookies – 24 cookies
• Melted butter – 4 tbsp
Method
1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
2. Mix with melted butter.
3. Press into pie dish.
4. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 8 minutes or chill.
Chocolate Pie Crust
Ingredients
• All-purpose flour – 1¼ cups
• Cocoa powder – ¼ cup
• Sugar – 2 tbsp
• Cold butter – ½ cup
• Ice water – 4–6 tbsp
Method
1. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
2. Cut in butter until crumbly.
3. Add ice water slowly to form dough.
4. Chill 30 minutes before rolling.
5. Bake as needed for pie.
Vegan Pie Crust
Ingredients
• All-purpose flour – 2½ cups
• Coconut oil or vegan butter – ¾ cup (cold)
• Sugar – 1 tbsp
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Ice water – 6–8 tbsp
Method
1. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
2. Add cold coconut oil or vegan butter and mix until crumbly.
3. Gradually add ice water and form a dough.
4. Wrap dough and chill 30 minutes.
5. Roll out and place in a pie pan.
