Rosafoods favorites โ€“ Longaniza and Tocino โ€“ have been the standards in taste and quality in Aklan and can compete with the best of its kind anywhere. Rosafoods started as a pioneering food processing enterprise in November 3, 1990. Since then, it has grown to become a major food manufacturer in the region receiving awards as best meat processing plant and most outstanding entrepreneur in Western Visayas. Rosafoods is a licensed food manufacturer by the Food and Drug Authority since 2016. In 2011, in recognition of its excellent business practices, Rosafoods was awarded the SME Star Elite Award Champion by the MSMED Council and the Department of Trade and Industry-Region 6. Rosafoods was also recognized as 2017 Regional SET-UP Adaptor by the Department of Science and Technology-Region 6 and the Outstanding Aklan Entrepreneur in 2016 by the Province of Aklan.
