🌾 Mr. and Mrs. JD Farmhouse participates “Farm to Destination” Event in Lanao del Norte! 🌿
We’re honored to have been part of the enlightening seminar “Farm to Destination: Unlocking the Potential of Farm Tourism in Lanao del Norte” held on May 15, 2025 at the Farmer’s Training Center, Provincial Agriculture Compound, Pigcarangan, Tubod Lanao del Norte.
This initiative, led by the Provincial Government under the leadership of Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo, brought together passionate farmers and farm tourism advocates from across the province.
One of the event highlights was an inspiring talk from Mr. Henry S. Binahon, owner of Binahon Agro-Forestry Farm, who shared his farm journey since 1982. His words deeply resonated with us:
“Start small. Start simple. Start with what you have.”
He reminded us of the importance of self-awareness, knowing our potential, and maximizing available resources — a mindset we truly believe in at Mr. and Mrs. JD Farmhouse.
The program also included sketch mapping, progress mapping, and group presentations, which sparked collaboration and creativity among farm owners and agri-entrepreneurs.
A special moment for Ms. Juhani Dimalna, owner of Mr. and Mrs. JD Farmhouse, was reconnecting with her Trainer, and a former member of her youth organization — Pag-asa Youth Association, Kolambugan Chapter. It was a heartwarming reminder that our past efforts continue to bloom in the lives of young leaders today. 🌱
