BOX OF HOPE 🍃🌱
For many of you, Arjay is more than just a familiar face.
If you’ve visited our market over the years, you’ve probably met him. Siya yung laging tumutulong magbuhat ng orders, nag-aayos ng mga gulay, at bumabati sa inyo every weekend. He’s been one of the frontliners of Greens for Good, quietly serving our community behind every market day.
Lately, many of you have been asking us, “Nasaan na si Arjay?”
Today, we’d like to share why.
At only 26 years old, Arjay was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Instead of spending his weekends with us, he’s now spending his days in and out of the hospital, undergoing treatment and chemotherapy.
As a farmers’ association, we may not have much, but we believe that when a community comes together, even small acts of kindness can make a difference.
That’s why we created the Box of Hope.
💚 ₱500 per box
🥬 Around 3kg of fresh vegetables
🌱 6 varieties, freshly harvested by our partner farmers in Benguet and Mountain Province.
We also want to be transparent. Every box supports two causes: our farmers are paid fairly for the vegetables they grow, and the remaining proceeds will go directly toward helping Arjay with his treatment.
