For those wondering why we stopped producing our bacon and pork tapa, here's the backstory.

We have 7 breeding sows, but during the second half of 2025, not one of them farrowed. 😅

Our running joke during that season was, "Naghihintay sa wala." We kept thinking they were pregnant... only to find out they weren't.

Looking back, we now see that it was one of God's answers to our prayer.

At that time, we were praying about whether we should pursue lechon and cochinillo for the Christmas season. We asked the Lord to make it clear: "If this isn't Your will, please close the door."

Well... He did.

So ayun na nga—no pregnancies. No piglets. Door closed.

But after the holidays, everything changed.

One after another, our sows started farrowing. We went from zero piglets to more than 60, with a very low mortality rate. It was God's perfect timing.

Looking back, perhaps if we had pursued lechon during the holiday season, our ex*****on wouldn't have been as good. The runway was simply too short, and we weren't as prepared as we thought we were.

So ang saya ng rebound story... Diba?

The only problem? Our existing facilities could no longer accommodate them.

So we built this.

Our new free-range pig area, where our hogs will have room to roam, root, and behave the way pigs naturally do. Combined with our fermented greens and carefully managed feeding program, we're hoping this results in healthier pigs, better fat distribution, and even better marbling from our Berkshire genetics.

Yes, we had to clear part of the land to build it. But our prayer is that, over time, the pigs will help regenerate the soil through rotational grazing and natural fertilization, making this area healthier than before.

Sometimes God answers our prayers by saying, "Not yet." And sometimes, when the timing is right, He blesses us more abundantly than we imagined.

We still have a long way to go, but we're grateful that we get to witness God's faithfulness every step of the way.

We're excited for what's ahead, and we can't wait to share the fruits of this new chapter with all of you.
