Treasuring Christ Together
Mathew 13:44"The kingdom of heaven that is, the kingdom of God is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
The kingdom of God is so valuable that losing everything on earth, but getting the kingdom, is a happy trade off.
“In his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
The loss of all things is not sad if we gain Christ for the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Christ are the same.
Phillipians 3:9
"But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him"
Romans 8:18 Paul says "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us"
Mathew 6:33"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Brothers and sisters In Christ,Jesus is the hidden treasure in the world and there is no greater treasure or joy than him.
He is worth knowing and worth completely giving everything in your life to have him.
If you do not want him and do not treasure him, then you have made your decision and you will not be with him when it is time for eternity to begin.
