Bi Pure Water Philippines – Intermediate / Senior Process Engineer
1. Mandatory Qualifications & Education: Bachelor of Science in Process, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
License: Active Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License (Registered Engineer) preferred.
Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience in wastewater/sewage treatment plant (STP/ETP) operations, design, and maintenance.
Experience in water treatment design with media filtration & membrane technology (UF, NF, RO) is a definite asset.
Residency: Candidate should be a resident of Metro Manila – Bi Pure Water office is located in Las Piñas.
2. Core Technical Requirements
Operations & Maintenance (O&M): In-depth knowledge of biological and chemical treatment design processes (e.g., MBR, SBR, MBBR, Activated Sludge, DAF, Sludge Dewatering).
Regulations: Strong understanding of Philippine environmental laws, specifically DENR DAO 2016-08 (Water Quality Guidelines) and LLDA regulations.
Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience with pumps, blowers, diffusers, and chemical dosing systems.
Instrumentation: Proficiency in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is a definite asset.
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout reviews, Biowin for process Design, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting is a definite asset.
3. Key Competencies & Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Ability to troubleshoot and improve treatment efficiency to reduce costs and ensure compliance.
Leadership: Experience managing technical teams, operators, and contractors.
Reporting: Capability to prepare Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs) and other documentation for regulatory bodies.
Safety: Familiarity with safety procedures, including COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) or BOSH.
4. Other Requirements
Willingness to work extra hours as required by the job.
Willingness to travel to various sites for site assessment during bidding process and plant commissioning after completion of the site installation.
Physically fit for on-site inspections, including confined spaces
