As we prepare to close this chapter, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. From our humble beginnings as Hitachi’s Restaurant to our growth into K-Tachi’s Restaurant and Hitachi’s Resto-Bar, it has been an incredible journey.

Looking back at our one-year evolution—from second-year students finding our footing to third-year levels leading the way—we feel truly blessed to have come this far.

To our incredible crew: we couldn't have done it without you. From the energy at the Front of the House to the hustle in the Back of the House, your dedication made our final bar operation a massive success!

The laughter and camaraderie behind the scenes. The days we’ll never forget and the bonds we’ve built. The rushes and hurdles that made us stronger professionals.

It’s been a wild, beautiful ride, and we are so proud of what we’ve achieved together.

Salamat kaayo sa tanan! Until our next service. See you in the hospitality world! Ciao!

Promoting teamwork, collaboration, and workplace synergy, participants from K-Tatchi together with Section C of Siam Spice conducted the Total Quality Management (TQM) Team-Building Activity, featuring learning sessions, interactive discussions, and fun team-building games.

In her welcome address, Head Chef Elisha Marie Hombrebueno encouraged participants to enjoy the activities while strengthening teamwork and camaraderie.
“Let us make the most of this opportunity not only to learn but also to enjoy the activities together as a team,” Hombrebueno highlighted.

The statement of purpose and rationale of the activity was delivered by John Michael Mondejar, Head of Marketing of K-Tatchi, who emphasized the importance of teamwork in delivering quality service and maintaining a productive work environment.

During the inspirational message, Ken Aporillo, Manager of K-Tatchi, reminded participants that success in the workplace depends on the contribution of every member of the team.
“Every role matters. No task is too small—whether taking orders, preparing food, cleaning up, or organizing supplies. Every action contributes to the bigger picture. Without each one of you doing your part, we wouldn’t have achieved what we did,” Aporillo said.

The seminar proper featured two discussions. Mark F. Balatayo, Assistant Manager of K-Tatchi, presented “Building Unity in the Workplace,” highlighting trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility among team members.

This was followed by an energizer and various fun games, including Team Bons Bons, which encouraged participation, interaction, and camaraderie among participants.
Meanwhile, Fricela B. Haganas, Manager of Siam Spice, delivered the second topic titled “Effective Communication in a Team,” emphasizing that clear and respectful communication is essential to a productive and harmonious workplace.

The activity concluded with a message from TQM instructor Ma’am Reyna Eve Paceño, who underscored that they have already set their objective of preparing students for the hospitality industry.
“As your instructor, we already aim to prepare you for the industry,” Paceño said.

In her closing remarks, Marketing Head Cherilyn Tampoy expressed appreciation to the participants and encouraged them to apply the lessons learned from the activity.
“May the teamwork, communication, and cooperation that we practiced today continue beyond this activity and guide us in our work and future endeavors,” Tampoy said.

The TQM Team-Building Activity provided an opportunity for participants to strengthen collaboration, build workplace values, and foster connections essential for success in the hospitality and service industry.
