Pinangunahan ng Board of Directors at Education and Membership Committee ng PGEMPCOP kamakailan ang isang makabuluhang pakikipagpulong kay BM Rosalina Apaga, Chairperson ng Committee on Cooperative, MSME and Entrepreneurship Development upang talakayin ang mga programang makatutulong sa pagpapalawak ng kasapian at higit pang pagpapalakas ng kooperatiba.

Bilang kapwa miyembro at lingkod-bayan, patuloy na nagsisilbing inspirasyon si BM Apaga sa pagsusulong ng mga adhikaing mapabuti ang kalagayan ng mga miyembro at mapatatag ang kooperatiba.

Nagsasagawa ang PGEMPCOP ng ika-2 Quarterly Meeting para sa mga Focal Persons bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapalakas at mapahusay ang mga programa at serbisyo para sa mga miyembro ng kooperatiba ngayong araw, June 24, 2026 sa CEEOD training hall.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagpupulong na ito, tinatalakay ang mahahalagang usapin, plano, at mga hakbang upang higit pang mapagtibay ang mahusay, mabilis, at maaasahang serbisyo para sa kapakinabangan ng bawat miyembro.

PGEMPCOP, Provincial Government Sign MOA to Strengthen Employee Welfare and Cooperative Development

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Provincial Government of Pangasinan (PGP) and the Provincial Government Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (PGEMPCOP) formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) establishing a payroll deduction facility system for Provincial Government employees who are members of the cooperative.

The agreement was signed by Pangasinan Governor Ramon V. Guico III and PGEMPCOP Chairperson Clarisa Basco in the presence of provincial and cooperative officials.

Under the MOA, Provincial Government employees who are members of PGEMPCOP may conveniently settle their cooperative obligations through authorized payroll deductions, ensuring efficient, timely remittances and enhancing access to the cooperative's financial services and programs.

Beyond the payroll deduction facility, the agreement formally recognizes PGEMPCOP as a social and financial partner of the Provincial Government in promoting employee welfare and advancing cooperative development within the provincial workforce.

Governor Guico underscored the importance of partnerships that contribute to the financial well-being and economic empowerment of government employees, while Chairperson Basco expressed gratitude for the Provincial Government's continued support of initiatives that strengthen the cooperative movement.

The partnership is expected to provide greater opportunities for employees to access savings, credit, and other cooperative services designed to improve their quality of life and financial security.

The signing of the MOA marks a significant step toward fostering a stronger culture of cooperation, financial responsibility, and mutual growth among employees of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan.

PGEMPCOP Holds Oath-taking and Induction Ceremony for New Leadership

The Provincial Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative of Pangasinan (PGEMPCOP) officials took their oaths of office before Gov. Ramon V. Guico III at the Urduja Ceremonial Hall on April 28, 2026.

Inducted into office were Ms. Clarisa Basco, Chairperson; Ms. Jennifer Cruz, Vice-Chairperson; Board of Directors, Edwin Sison, Jewel-Rey Padilla, Sonia Yao, Mirafe Macaraeg, Rowel Malogan, different committees; and management staff headed by General Manager Janette C. Asis, were sworn in, signaling a fresh phase for the cooperative’s leadership and governance.

The event was graced by BM Rosalina C. Apaga, Chairman of the Committee on Cooperative, Micro Small and Medium Business and Entrepreneurship Development; Mr. Manuel O. Luis, Jr, Provincial Administrator, department heads, and Sheryl Lou M Fabia, CDS II of RO1 Cooperative Development Authority.
who expressed their full support and encouragement for the cooperative’s continued growth and service to its members.

The newly inducted officers pledged their commitment to uphold transparency, accountability, and excellence in service delivery, reinforcing PGEMPCOP’s mission to empower its members and strengthen the cooperative sector.

The ceremony highlighted unity and shared responsibility as key drivers in achieving a more progressive and resilient organization.
