Matcha of the Day 🍵

Matcha Moments Tsuyuhikari Matcha
Single Cultivar Matcha from Yame 🇯🇵

Aroma: Sweet, Floral, Sakura-like aroma
Color: Light Green
Umami: Medium-High
Sweetness: Medium-High
Astringency: Low
Bitterness: Very Low

Upon opening this matcha I can immediately smell the sweet, floral aroma which is one of the highlights of this matcha.

Drinking this as an usucha, the initial taste hits the palate with an immediate, clean sweetness, almost zero to non astringency and bitterness. Transitioning into a vibrant, savory umami note.

This matcha can also be used for iced usucha because of its low bitterness and astringency flavor profile.
