Join us on May 30 for The Language of Tea and experience tea in a more focused, intentional way.

Taste teas from different origins side by side, including tencha — the leaf before it becomes matcha. Discover the different expressions of matcha and begin to understand how each step, from leaf to preparation, shapes what you taste.

Come with curiosity. Leave with a deeper appreciation for tea.

We’re deep-diving into the dark side of the bowl. From potential bacterial buildup in porous bamboo to the hidden issue of micro-splinters and mold, your favorite whisk might be doing more harm than good.

In high-volume café environments, the traditional bamboo whisk may come with risks most people never think about. Before you take your next sip of that “healthy” matcha, it might be worth looking closer at the tool behind the bowl.
