"God's plans are full of surprises." Short (?) story time.

Kahapon habang namimili ng paninda sa tindahan ni nanay, meron biglang phone call asking kung ako si Lúway. Sabi ko opo, kung pwede raw sya omorder ng fresh flower kung pwede raw pa send ng photos ng mga gawa ko. I sent it then sabi ko pwede i-customize. Gusto raw nya color pink na lily and rose pero maganda rin daw yung carnation. We finalized it then secured the goods.

Pag-uwi, Ni-linis ko na, pina-open ko yung flowers para maganda ang bloom kinabukasan. Then, I tried to arrange it, multiple times. Yes, multiple, because I want it to be pretty and make it last a little longer. I used a floral sponge and arranged it tapos hindi mag-kaigi, bagong floral sponge nanaman. I wasted 3 floral sponges because I couldn't find the right arrangement that I wanted it to be.

Around 11:30 pm, I finished this last flower arrangement, fyi I started around 9pm. That was how long pala I arranged and rearranged this bouquet, kaloka. When I tried it on the first arrangement (first photo) I felt happy it looked so pretty but then it didn't satisfy me so I rewrapped it (last photo). I finished everything around 12 am.

For how many weeks, of gasoline and diesel price hike, I was discouraged to sell fresh flowers this coming graduation day. This order came to me like a reminder that God will always provide. Truly, God's plans are full of surprises. Kahit hindi mo hingin, ibibigay nya dahil may naka-laan para sayo.

Redeeming myself from last year's big bouquet order. 💐

Story time:
Ang arrangement na ito ay similar sa order saakin last year. The requested arrangement is from pinterest so it's pretty aesthetic for sure. Valentines Day came, arranged the flowers, then my partner delivered it to Gumaca, only to receive a message "di po mam maganda sori po ok na din". I was so offended back then kase 'anong mali sa arrangement ko?', 'maganda naman, okay naman', akala ko yung maganda sakin e maganda na rin para sa customer ko. Only to realize a year later e hindi naman pala talaga maganda at malayo sa arrangement na request ng customer.
I realized, hindi dahil hindi naging maganda ang feedback ng customer e madidiscouraged na tayo to try again. Mas kailangan nga natin mag try harder kase customers feedback may help us to be better at our chosen field.
Thank you so much po sa customer namin na ito for a chance to make you a big bouquet, opo big bouquet po kase first time po namin gumawa ng big bouquet last year and we have learned so much from it po. ✨

For our new customers, we are now making sure na kung ano po yung requested arrangement e closer or kagaya na po ng inspo yung gawa namin, at minsan mas maganda na rin po. Kaya sure pong quality ang arrangement and fresh flowers this coming Valentines Day. 🤍💐
