It is considered to be one of the more progressive farms in the area as it has been repeatedly cited for its commitment to introducing new technologies in the field of sugarcane farming. Hacienda Valencia is also engaged in the commercial production of fruits, mainly mango, having recently implemented a planting program aimed at diversifying its product lines. Past relationships in the retail have been the investment as a minority shareholder in Burger King Philippines, Inc., the establishment of retail concept stores representing brands of sporting goods such as Puma, New Balance and Arena swimwear. The company is currently the exclusive distributor in the Philippines for Ipanema, Grendha, Rider and Ginga footwear brands. The company continues to seek foreign brands in the consumer goods sector for introduction into the Philippine retail and wholesale market.
