A love letter to…. Well, Quiche. By Bea.
I never loved quiche, it was something served at coffee shops and fancy breakfast buffets. Most of them taste too egg-y for my liking and foreign to my meat and rice diet 😬😂
But as most things go… it started with a girl. I couldn’t not try it, cause what if she got mad? (Only later did I find out it was a ploy to get me to eat vegetables). The first one was spinach and mushroom (i strongly dislike mushroom). But apparently my sister loved the quiche and so did my cousin. Since they loved it, the girl made more, in different flavors that now occupy my brain at all times of the day.
Like most good stories, it started with not wanting to disappoint the girl. Now, that girl is my soon to be wife and we’re on this journey together. One quiche at a time, one supportive friend has turned into a few, our neighbors have standing orders and we continue to get more support day after day.
So i wanted to say, quiche i guess i love you now? Not only cause you taste so good. But also because of what you’ve taught me. As the christmas rush starts, i wanted to say thank you for everyone who has helped us get here and for everyone about to order cause i posted this 😂 for those who haven’t yet…… i’ll love you more when you do. 😆
