Pork Tocino
Ingredients:
* 1 lb pork slices
* 1/3 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup pineapple juice
* 3 tbsp vinegar
* 2 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp red food coloring
Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients and marinate pork overnight (best flavor).
2. Cook in a pan with a little water on medium heat.
3. Let water evaporate, then fry in its own oil until caramelized.
4. Serve with rice and egg π³
Pork Binabad
Ingredients:
* 1 lb pork belly
* 1/4 cup vinegar
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1 head garlic
* 1 tsp black peppercorns
* 2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a pot.
2. Simmer on low heat (donβt stir at first).
3. Cook until pork is tender and sauce reduces.
4. Fry slightly for crispy edges (optional).
Longganisa
Ingredients:
* 1 lb ground pork
* 3 tbsp sugar
* 2 tbsp vinegar
* 2 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 tbsp paprika
* 8 cloves garlic
* 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix everything well.
2. Shape into small sausages or patties.
3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
4. Fry on medium heat until fully cooked and browned.
Pork Barbecue π’
Ingredients:
* 1 lb pork
* 1/4 cup banana ketchup
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 3 tbsp sugar
* 2 tbsp calamansi juice
* 4 cloves garlic
Instructions:
1. Marinate pork for at least 2β4 hours.
2. Thread onto skewers.
3. Grill over medium heat, turning and brushing marinade.
4. Cook until slightly charred and juicy.
Grilled Pork Belly
Ingredients:
* 1 lb pork belly
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 3 tbsp vinegar
* 1 tbsp fish sauce
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
1. Marinate pork for 2β4 hours.
2. Grill over medium heat.
3. Flip regularly for even cooking.
4. Cook until crispy outside and juicy inside.
Pork Adobo π²
Ingredients:
* 1 1/2 lbs pork
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1/3 cup vinegar
* 1 head garlic
* 3 bay leaves
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a pot.
2. Bring to boil, then simmer (donβt stir early).
3. Cook until pork is tender.
4. Reduce sauce until thick and rich.
5. Optional: fry pork slightly for extra texture.
