As a paladesisyon, we decided that "soft life, self-care, flower girl" is our new aesthetic!

We are hosting a Fuzzy Flower Bouquet Workshop at Mesa Lokal, and it is going to be the cutest thing ever. We’re making these super simple, incredibly soft bouquets that are basically the perfect Mother’s Day gift (or, you know, a gift for yourself because you deserve a treat).

It’s giving "handmade with love," it’s giving cozy texture, and it’s giving "I actually have hobbies now." Plus, it’s a simple project, so even if you think you’re not the "crafty type," I promise you can do this!

- an excerpt from a broadcast piece written by then Lt. Salvador P. Lopez. It was read by Lt. Norman Reyes on the evening broadcast of “Voice of Freedom” from within the Malinta Tunnel in Corregidor a few hours after Filipino and American defenders surrendered in Bataan on April 9, 1942.
