Ang buwan ng agosto ay kilala ng lahat bilang "Buwan ng Wika" ngunit alam niyo ba na ang agosto ay tinagurian din na "History Month"?

Ang Proclamatoin No. 339, ay pinirmahan ng dating presidente na si Benigno S. Aquino III taong 2012, idineklara na ang agosto ay Buwan ng Kasaysayan(History Month)

Ngunit bakit nga ba?🤔

Napili ang agosto dahil punong puno ito ng makasaysayang pangyayari na may kinalaman sa pagsilang ng bansang pilipino.Kasama na dito ang pagsiklab ng Rebolusyong Pilipino noong Agosto 1896. Ang araw ng mga bayani ay ipinagdiriwang din tuwing Agosto 30.
