At around 4:13 pm yesterday (January 31, 2017), this man alias “Nathaniel” came by our stall and claimed to be associated with Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish- Barasoain Church, even name dropping the priests assigned there. He pretended to be a customer and ordered Mexikanin food for delivery. When our employee (Ate Edna) was about to deliver the food, he took hold of Ate Edna’s cellphone and money meant as change for the food delivery.

Later that day, we tried calling Ate Edna’s phone numerous times. Ate Edna’s sister texted and requested that the money and cellphone be returned. “Nathaniel” replied in this manner, “Kapag hindi kayo tumigil, ibabalik namin ang cellphone at pera ninyo pero pagbababarilin ko kayo.”
We believe that “Nathaniel” may be part of a Budol Budol group in Bulacan.

We urge the people of Malolos to be cautious of “Nathaniel” and his Budol Budol group. If seen, please immediately report to the Police and the Barangay. We request the Malolos City Police, the City Government of Malolos and the Provincial Office of Bulacan to respond to our call for action and to work hand in hand towards eradicating crime in our hometown.

Due to this unforeseen and unfortunate circumstance, Mexikanin will be open from 12pm- 6:30pm only.
