us to make arrangements. At Dean’s Organic Farm, we use rice husk as an absorbent material. The hogs enjoy a stress free, comfortable environment, as they would in the wild. One of our main objectives is to produce quality hogs, for maximum customer satisfaction. Being that rice husk is more hygienic, every six months, we remove the husk and utilize it as fertilizer. The used rice husk is recycled and composted into our soil, this keeps the vegetation at Dean’s Organic Farm staying green, and growing year round. Our hogs enjoy, a large pen with its own water pool, providing clean water for our hogs. The pool water is drained multiple times each day, and used to irrigate the farm area. All of this combined helps to feed our goat population. We also fabricate our own steel cages and farrowing pens. If you need a customized cage or farrowing pen give us a call. Provide your dimensions/requirements or take a look at ours and we can get it built. We recently fabricated and added a high pressure mist system in our farrowing pen area.
