President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., who also heads the Department of Agriculture (DA), will review the proposed sugar order of 150K metric tons (MT) before signing its approval.

To be submitted by the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), the importation plan proposing the said amount is expected to help stabilize the price of the sugar in the market.
