Gather your crew and head over to 102 Izakaya! Tucked away in the vibrant Japan Town at the top of Glorietta 2, this hidden gem serves up massive retro vibes, incredible beats, and Japanese street food that hits the spot every single time.

We were not able to partake of their extensive cocktail menu since we have work the next day but their food is also absolutely the bomb!

Here is our honest review of their food. Well, at least the ones we were able to try.

This hidden gem is a grocery store and an air-conditioned "taho bar" all in one.They serve incredibly silky, rectangular chilled tofu desserts that you can fully customize.

Plus, they have unlimited sweet arnibal refills!

Here is my honest food review on two of their absolute must-try items:

Soft Tofu with Pearl Barley (₱55)The Tofu: This isn’t your ordinary street taho. It is served chilled, rectangular, and has a dense yet hyper-silky texture that melts in your mouth.

The Barley: Adding pearl barley is a total game-changer. It adds a wonderful, slightly chewy contrast to the soft tofu.

It is a refreshing, healthy, and subtly sweet dessert perfect for beating the Manila heat.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) - An absolute must-order.🥚

Food Review:

Herbal Tea Egg

This is my current go to coffee.

Lasang mamahaling kape pero sa presyong kaibigan.

Stripped down, minimalist interiors at limited seating kaya di ka ma engganyo na tumambay.

Pansin ko Wala yata sila standard pagdating sa temperature.

Yung branch nila sa Circuit sobrang init. Yung sa Pasong Tamo naman pakiramdam mo nasa North Pole ka.

Di pwede sa mga gen z tiktokerist nepo babies na naghahanap ng instagramable tambayan. O millenial WFH peeps. Walang outlet dito na masasaksakan nyo ng laptop nyo. Medyo matigas din upuan nila at yung mga mesa karamihan sobrang liit. Sakto lang na lapagan mo ng kape at celfone at yun na yun.

Pero kung habol mo ay masarap na kape na hindi presyong budol, eto na hinahanap mo.

It's the first time I've been back here since ..I can't even remember when.

Saw several new additions to their menu and decided to try their Aguila corner beef silog and it did not disappoint. Yummy!

Also ordered coffee to go with breakfast and I would have preferred it to be bolder.

Looks like it underwent a renovation recently and I'm loving the interiors.

Very cool coffee shop vibes!
