Exact Rheinhessen w**es — Carsten Saalwächter

Carsten Saalwächter is one of those w**emaker that crafts incredible w**es from a variety of native grapes of Germany. Each w**e tasted offers ambition and clarity. Carsten farms his limestone packed soils in
the northern Rheinhessen naturally for an intense ripe acidity. He has plots in both Ingelheim as well as the very steep, slate driven slopes of Assmannshäuser Höllenberg which he describes as real Grand Cru plots for his Pinot Noir. His w**es are stylish, high-tension and low-intervention. These w**es are something you need to discover as Cartsen is one of the newest vanguard for German w**es.

Vibrant Nebbiolo — Colombera & Garella

The small w**ery is run by Carlo & Giacomo Colombera and Cristiano Garella. Together they make vibrant 100% Nebbiolo/Nebbiolo based blends with passion and a sincere nod to tradition. Classic Piedmonte characteristics merge with a more modern and natural approach. The w**ery is located in Northern Piedmont wherein they cultivate seven hectares of vineyards between the villages of Lessona, Masserano and Brusnengo. Using only native grapes of Nebbiolo, Croatina and Vespolina – as well as craft Lessona DOC and Bramaterra DOC. The grapes grown high above in volcanic soils provide minerality and delicate red fruit. These are w**es that are pure, fresh and terroir focused. Another new addition to the portfolio. Electric Verdicchio — Stefano Zoli

New addition to our Italian portfolio. Stefano Zoli is finally making his own w**e after being a w**emaker for Chiara Condello family w**e. Making his debut release in 2020. He works with a local white variety in Verdicchio of the high mountain Matelica at the Marche region. The old vines are grown organically in calcareous marl and clay soils. Stefano carefully picks the clusters with the correct ripeness and density. The electric acidity you taste is from the altitude and terroir of Matelica. Cellar work is kept minimal for full expression of this grape. Belspiro is his riserva bottling that has the oldest vine plot of Verdicchio and goes through a long élevage.

our dear friend, Charlie Villard will be in town after his last visit to Manila in 2019. We’re delighted to welcome him back to our islands for a rare evening at Flow restaurant on Tuesday, June 2nd at 6pm.

Charlie is one of the charismatic w**emakers of Casablanca Valley in Chile. A French-Chilean w**emaker that possesses excellent vineyard management with gentle hands in the cellar. We shall be tasting five w**es—reds, orange and white. To make the night special, Chef Kevin Uy and his team at Flow made a custom menu to make a harmonious food and w**e celebration.

Atlantic Freshness and Saltiness — Vale da Capucha

Vale da Capucha is a small family-owned project by the Marques family within the Torres Vedras DOC. The estate is located 10 kilometers away from the Atlantic Ocean. Since Pedro Marques and his brother took over in 2007 they certified their estate organically. The vineyard lies on slopes with a limestone from the Kimmeridgian era. Pedro ferments all his w**es naturally and vinification are done without any sulfur. The whites are pressed directly whole cluster and moved to stainless for fermentation, before some of them are moved to demi-muids for long élevage. The producing whites are profound, bodied and
compelling. Now on stock.
