A Prayer for the First Day of September.

Lord, as we welcome September, I place this new month in Your hands. As we step into another season, go before me in every plan I make, every decision I face, and every place I need to be. May this month bring me closer to You, even in the moments when I do not understand where You are leading me.

Give me the strength to face what lies ahead, the wisdom to know what is meant for me, and the courage to let go of what is not. Protect my heart from unnecessary worries and remind me that I do not have to carry everything on my own. As this new month begins, help me welcome every day with faith and trust Your timing, especially when things feel slow and Your plans do not look like mine.

May September be filled with answered prayers, unexpected blessings, quiet growth, and the kind of peace that only comes from You. And whatever this month brings, let me walk through it knowing one thing: I am not entering September alone. You are already there. Amen.

Ending August with a Grateful Heart

As August comes to a close, I thank You, Lord, for every moment You carried me through. Thank You for the prayers You answered, the doors You opened, the strength You gave, and even the seasons that taught me to trust You when I couldn't understand Your plans. Every joy and every challenge became another reminder that Your faithfulness never runs out.

For the prayers that are still waiting for an answer, I choose to leave them in Your hands. Help me step into a new month with a heart full of peace instead of worry, faith instead of fear, and hope instead of doubt. Teach me to keep following You even when I cannot yet see where the path leads, knowing that Your timing is always perfect.

As this month ends, I surrender everything I cannot control and receive the grace You have prepared for the days ahead. May September begin with renewed strength, deeper faith, and an even greater desire to walk closely with You. Whatever tomorrow holds, I know the One who holds tomorrow. Amen.

What He started in you, He is faithful to carry through. ❤️🙏

If He gave you the vision, He'll give you the victory.

Sometimes, God places a dream in your heart long before He reveals how it will happen. You may see the destination but not the road, know the promise but not the process. And when the journey becomes difficult, you may wonder if you heard Him correctly. But the absence of an easy path does not mean the vision was never from God.

The vision may come with seasons of waiting, closed doors, unexpected detours, and moments when you feel unqualified to continue. But God does not give you a glimpse of what is possible just to leave you alone to figure it out. He provides the strength, wisdom, people, opportunities, and grace needed for every step. What He asks from you is not to know everything, but to keep trusting Him with what you cannot yet see.

So keep going. Keep praying over the dream He placed in your heart. Keep showing up even when progress feels invisible. If God gave you the vision, trust Him with the provision, the process, and the victory. What He started in you, He is faithful to carry through.

If it’s God’s will, it’s God’s bill.

What God has planned for you won’t always make sense at first. Sometimes the dream may feel too big, the timing too slow, or the path looks impossible. But you don’t have to figure everything out before you take the next step. If He placed it in your heart, trust that He already knows how to make a way.

You might not have the money, the connections, the answers, or even the confidence yet. That’s okay. God has never needed you to have everything figured out before He starts working. Do your part, pray over it, keep showing up, and leave the rest in His hands. What feels impossible to you is never too much for Him.

So don’t give up just because you can’t see how it will happen. If it’s God’s will, you won’t have to carry the whole weight of making it happen. He will provide what you need, open the right doors, and make a way where you thought there was none. If God called you to it, trust Him to provide for it.

Just reminiscing, San Francisco was the first out of the country my foot set in, looking back 28years ago when I was lucky enough to join the Model United Nations (MUN), where Knollers were sent to participate and represent a country in the MUN. I studied and represented the country of Angola back then in the World Health Organization.
Such a fulfilling experience, I carry on until now❤️ Thank you to my parents and tito who supported me with that dream and endeavor and to the International Studies teachers who coached us in this big school On the job training (OJT).
