Long post ahead. This may take a few minutes to read, but it’s written with genuine gratitude and deep respect for the brand I am proud to represent in this industry. If you’re part of this brand, I sincerely hope you’ll stay until the very end.

Above all, my deepest respect and gratitude to Rufrance LPG from its top management to every employee whose hard work, commitment, and sacrifices helped build the brand into the market leader it is today.

𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗚𝗜𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗚𝗔 𝗧𝗜𝗚-𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗚 𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦, 𝗦𝗜𝗞𝗢𝗣

Two individuals were arrested for their alleged involvement in an illegal LPG refilling operation and possession of smuggled ci******es during a buy-bust operation conducted by the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Madridejos Municipal Police Station, and the Regional Intelligence Division (RID)-7 in Sitio Kagwangan, Barangay Tarong, Madridejos, Cebu, past 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9.

The suspects were identified only by the aliases “Ronel,” 30, and “Noel,” 37, both residents of Sitio Kagwangan, Barangay Tarong, Madridejos.

Police said the tracker team from the 1st PMFC, Madridejos police, and RID-7 conducted the operation following reports of illegal selling and refilling of LPG or butane canisters in the area, which led to the arrest of the two suspects.

Recovered during the operation were 325 illegally refilled AgilaGas butane canisters, an LPG refilling setup consisting of a 50-kilogram LPG tank, weighing scale, improvised refilling equipment, and marked buy-bust money.

Authorities also discovered that the suspects were allegedly in possession of smuggled ci******es with an estimated value of more than ₱3 million.

The suspects are set to face charges for violations of Section 40 of Republic Act No. 11592 and Section 1401 of Republic Act No. 10863, or the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
