Marami ang nakakita na ng tungaw-tungaw noong bata paβ€”isang ligaw na halamang may kulay ube o rosas na bulaklak at maliliit na bunga. Para sa iba, nilalaruan lang ito at bihirang mapansin. Sa ilang lugar, kinakain pa nga ang hinog nitong bunga.

🌿 Isa itong katutubong halaman sa Pilipinas at may iba't ibang lokal na gamit depende sa komunidad. Gayunpaman, hindi lahat ng ligaw na prutas ay ligtas kainin nang walang tamang pagkakakilanlan.

Marami sa atin ang lumaking pinagsasabihang huwag hawakan o kainin ang halamang ito dahil "nakakalason" daw.

🍊 Ngunit sa maraming bansa, ang Cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) ay itinatanim at kinakain bilang prutas. Kilala rin ito sa taglay nitong bitamina at antioxidants.

🌿 Gayunpaman, hindi lahat ng bahagi ng halaman ay pare-pareho. Ang hinog na bunga na kulay dilaw hanggang kahel ay karaniwang ligtas kainin, samantalang ang hilaw na bunga, dahon, at tangkay ay may mga natural na compound na hindi dapat kainin.

Dark-colored soils are often associated with better crop growth, but soil color alone doesn't determine fertility.

🌱 Carbonized Rice Hull (CRH) is a popular soil amendment used by many farmers because it can improve soil aeration, drainage, water-holding capacity, and root development. It may also provide a favorable environment for beneficial soil microorganisms.

⚫ However, adding CRH does not automatically make soil as fertile as naturally fertile black soil. Soil fertility also depends on organic matter, nutrient availability, pH, texture, cation exchange capacity (CEC), and proper soil management.
