TheChickLab-Manila Food Hub was established on June 7, 2023 which aims to capture the heart of the online patrons of the fresh dressed chicken of the hard-working, passionate and altruistic Concepcion patriarch, Vicente Del Rosario Concepcion. Enteng, as his friends fondly called him, started from a humble beginning in 1958 by selling chicken eggs and live native chickens from dawn to dusk at the
busy streets of East Sampaloc Manila to make both ends meet for his growing family. He eventually earned the trust of his customers due to his dedication and the remarkable quality of his products. As his business grew and more customers were magnetized by his entrepreneurial skills, he opened his first store in 1964 at Trabajo Market with the help of his father, Perfecto. In 1977, the Concepcion matriarch, Pamfila became active and engaged in the business together with their 7 beloved children, Lucila, Leticia, Lo**ta, Francisco, Esperidion, Ramon and Ferdinand. The Concepcion’s fresh dressed chicken has become a household name and party staple in get-togethers, celebrations and community events. Adding healthy premium food brands to Concepcion’s venture, the 3rd generation of the family have decided to include Carmen’s Best Ice Cream and the delicious home-cooked Filipino, Chinese and other international dishes by Nanang’s Authentic Recipes to take the patrons to a whole new gastronomic experience.
