What is happening in our society and within the Philippine justice system today is deeply alarming and frightening, especially for our children.
Schools are supposed to be the second home of our children—a place where they should feel safe, protected, and able to learn. But it is heartbreaking that some schools are now becoming places of fear because of horrific crimes committed by students themselves. Weapons, knives, and other dangerous objects are finding their way into schools, putting innocent lives at risk.
I sincerely hope that our government will take immediate and stronger action to address this growing concern. Those who are responsible must be held accountable. Parents should also take responsibility and should never allow their children to have access to weapons or anything that could hurt or take another person's life.
Let us all learn to be responsible for one another. For every responsible person, there is a life that can be protected, saved, and helped. It starts at home—with proper guidance, discipline, love, and awareness of what our children are exposed to.
It may be easy to take someone's life, but the guilt and regret can stay with you for the rest of your life. Knowing that what you have done is a sin in the eyes of God is something you may carry forever. No life is worth taking, and no moment of anger, hatred, or recklessness is worth a lifetime of regret.
It is heartbreaking to see innocent children who have done nothing wrong become victims of situations they never deserved to be part of and, worst of all, lose their lives.
It is not enough to feel sorry after a tragedy has happened. We need to act before it is too late. The safety of our children is a responsibility we all share.
Please pray for the Philippines. 🙏🇵🇭
May God protect our children, our families, and every school in our country. May we never reach the point where our own sons and daughters are no longer safe in the places where they are supposed to be protected. 🙏🇵🇭
