Are my feelings not valid just because I don't express them the way you expect me to? Do my emotions matter less just because I choose to stay silent instead of explaining my pain?
Sometimes, I get tired of explaining why something hurts me.

I get tired of pretending that I'm okay just to avoid being misunderstood. I may be sensitive, but that doesn't mean my feelings are any less real.

I don't expect everyone to understand me, but I hope the people I care about will try. Because sometimes, all I need is to be heard, understood, and reassured that my feelings matter, too.

I'm not asking you to agree with everything I feel. I'm just asking you not to make me feel wrong for feeling it.
