🌿💚 Did you know that sudden weather changes can cause damage to some plants?

Here’s why:
- sudden shifts in temperature, humidity, or rainfall can make it hard for some plants to adjust—especially in tropical climates where conditions can change quickly.

I noticed some damages on my plant today, so I looked into simple ways to help it recover. Sharing a quick guide in case your plants experience the same.

🌱 What is Kamote?

Kingdom: Plantae

Family: Convolvulaceae 🌸

Kamote, or sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas), is a root crop known for its hardiness, nutritional value, and versatility. It’s grown in many parts of the Philippines, often in backyards, hillsides, or upland areas, even without fertilizers or ideal soil.

Unlike many plants, it doesn’t need constant attention — it quietly expands underground while showing little on the surface.

In permaculture and survival gardening, kamote is considered a low-maintenance crop. It literally grows where others can’t.

Layunin naming maibahagi ang pinaka simple at praktikal na kaalaman tungkol sa Pagtatanim o Paghahalaman, matulungan ang mga lokal na magsasaka, mapangalagaan ang ating kalikasan, at Magbahagi ng Pinakamura at abot-kayang mga Produktong Pang-agrikultura Para sa mga mamamayan.

Dito, ang bawat pagtatanim ay Sumisimbolo sa Pag-asa, Pag-unlad, at pagkakaisa.
