• Good evening, guys!! Sharing with you this Spanish Beef Caldereta from .Sobrang cute nung packaging! Pwedeng pwede ipadala or deliver safely sa mga loved ones and friends niyo. Tapos sobrang meaty. Filled with tender beef chunks talaga yung container so mga dalawang meals pa namin naulam! The meat itself is lean. Hindi fatty pero sobrang lambot. Thick yung sauce with a sweet and sour taste characteristic of caldereta. Sanay kami sa caldereta with potatoes and carrots so nagulat kami (na instead of the usual veggies) kasi olives yung nasa version ng . Sobrang malasa na kasi yung cheesy sauce (kita yung cheese bits!!) and beef kaya di ka na mapapahanap ng side dish! Thank you so much po for sharing this with us ❤

Thank you 🙏🙏Posted • Caldereta is one of the most popular stews here in the Philippines. Too popular that in every household, in every town has its own variation. You'll see Caldereta with carrots, potatoes, some would add cheese while others add green peas and bell pepper, but the common denominator is the dish is infused infused with tomato puree and liver spread. While the original Spanish Caldereta uses Mutton, we Pinoys add Beef or Goat meat. Simple Plate sent a bucket of their Spanish Beef Caldereta. Here's What I have to say.

I like the simplicity of the dish. It has soft and tender beef chunks, a generous amount of green olives, red bell peppers and lots of sauce. I like a Caldereta that is saucy, with just a hint of sweetness with spicy notes and very flavorful. Ito yun! The olives added a subtle richness to the sauce and the red bell peppers made it very aromatic. Once you bite into the beef, you know that it's been simmered to perfect tenderness. Na-appreciate ko sya ng husto kasi nga simple lang ang dish unlike other fancy Calderetas with so much ingredients. The sauce is very tasty, sauce pa lang ulam na! MASARAP, kaya, Liz says, TRY MO NA TO!!!
