We’ve decided to make our kimchi more local. 🔥

In 2012, when Typhoon Pablo struck Cateel, many livelihoods were lost—but the strength of the community gave rise to new opportunities. One of the products that helped locals recover was chili production and processing.

Dumang, a locally made chili powder, became a source of income for many Cateeleños. Known for its pure, rich, and authentic flavor, it reflects the resilience and hard work of the community. 🌶️

Our kimchi has been the talk of the town since we opened, and as part of our commitment not just to introduce local products but also to contribute to the municipality’s economy, we are proudly incorporating this wonderful ingredient into our kimchi.

A taste that tells a story—of survival, culture, and local pride. ❤️

We will be serving this soon—we’re just waiting for our first batch to sell out. 😉 For now, we’ll leave it to ferment… and let the flavors (and the excitement) build up.

We hope it doesn’t burn… but if it does, it’s the kind of heat you’ll keep coming back for. 🔥😋
