Taking a Break 🤍
As I baked my last orders, I couldn’t help but get emotional.
For the past three years, baking has been a huge part of my life. It wasn’t just a business—it became my safe place. I baked when I was happy, when I was sad, when I doubted myself, when I was tired. No matter what I was feeling, I always showed up.
Today, I’m choosing to take a break. I don’t know when I’ll be back, and honestly, it feels like I’m saying goodbye to someone I deeply love.
People have asked why I don’t just hire someone to help. The truth is, I could. But my heart wants something different right now.
I have two beautiful little girls who need me more than my business does. They deserve a mom who isn’t always racing against deadlines, checking orders, or worrying about the next bake. They deserve slow mornings, bedtime stories, laughter in the kitchen, spontaneous hugs, and a mom who is fully present.
My business has given me so much, and I will always be grateful for every customer who supported my dream. This isn’t the end—it’s simply a season of choosing my family first.
Because these little years won’t last forever.
The cakes can wait.
The orders can wait.
But my daughters will only be this little once.
So for now, I’m choosing them.
To everyone who has been part of my baking journey over the last three years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support allowed me to turn my passion into something beautiful, and I’ll always carry that with me.
