Last November, Typhoon Uwan struck the Bicol region and left our farm heavily damaged. The tiny house lost a part of its roof, ceilings collapsed, and parts of the farmhouse were severely affected. Over time, we also discovered hidden damage caused by rats and termites within the wooden walls and ceilings.
Recovery took months of patience, effort, and unplanned costs. We were buying construction materials little by little and waited for the rains to ease before starting renovations in February.
Now, as we anticipate partial completion, we’re hopeful to begin a new chapter.
Our modern farmhouse will soon be available on Airbnb aside from our tiny house, an expansion of the Tiny BIG Nook that will allow us to welcome larger groups. It offers breathtaking views of the Balagbag Mountain Ranges and surrounding rice paddies, a perfect place to relax, reconnect, and experience nature at its finest.
We look forward to welcoming you soon. 🙏
