The hotdog seller was busy serving customers on the street, grilling sandwiches as smoke filled the air.
Suddenly, a small beagle named Wiggle approached the cart.
In his mouth was a crumpled 1 dollar bill.
The seller smiled in surprise.
“So you want a hotdog too?” he laughed softly.
He took the money and handed Wiggle a packed hotdog sandwich.
The little beagle carefully grabbed the food and started walking away.
Curious, the seller decided to follow him.
Wiggle crossed the street, turned into a quiet alley, and finally stopped beside an old woman sitting alone in a wheelchair.
The seller froze.
Wiggle gently placed the hotdog sandwich on the old woman’s lap and wagged his tail happily.
The old woman smiled warmly and patted the beagle’s head.
At that moment, the seller realized the food was never for the dog.
It was for her.
The man’s eyes filled with tears.
He wiped his face silently, turned around, and rushed to the nearest grocery store.
A few minutes later, he returned carrying bags full of food and supplies.
The old woman looked shocked.
But the seller simply smiled and said,
“Wiggle already paid for it… with kindness.”
