✅ Easy Choco Moron Recipe at Home— Soft, Chewy at May Peanut Crunch 🤎

👩🏻‍🍳Ingredients

For White Dough:
-1 cup glutinous rice flour
-½ cup sugar
-1 cup coconut milk
-2 tbsp butter or margarine
-½ tsp vanilla (optional)

For Chocolate Dough:
-1 cup glutinous rice flour
-½ cup sugar
-1 cup coconut milk
-2 tbsp cocoa powder
-2 tbsp butter or margarine
-½ cup crushed peanuts (important for texture!)
-½ tsp vanilla (optional)

Others:
-Banana leaves (wilted/softened)
-String (optional, for tying)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the White Mixture

1. In a pan, combine:
-glutinous rice flour
-sugar
-coconut milk
2. Cook on low heat, stir continuously.
3. Add butter and vanilla.
4. Stir until it becomes thick, sticky, and dough-like.
Set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Chocolate Mixture

1. In another pan, combine:
-glutinous rice flour
-sugar
-coconut milk
-cocoa powder
2. Mix well until smooth.
3. Cook on low heat while stirring.
4. Add butter + crushed peanuts.
5. Cook until thick dough texture (same as white mixture).
6. Set aside.

3️⃣ Shape & Twist

1. Scoop equal portions of white and chocolate dough.
2. Roll each into logs.
3. Twist together (parang candy cane style 🌀).
4. Place on banana leaf.
5. Roll tightly and fold ends (or tie).

4️⃣ Steam

1. Arrange in steamer (at least 5 pcs or more).
2. Steam for 20–30 minutes on medium heat.
3. Let it cool slightly before opening.

5️⃣ Serve

1. Unwrap from banana leaves
2. Serve warm or slightly cooled
3. Best with coffee ☕ or hot chocolate
