It is a kind of rice variety that is considered one of the heirloom rices in the Philippines, and it is a very distinct variety because of its natural aroma and varied color (purple, white, and red).
Highly prized for traditional delicacies like biko, pinipig, suman, and p**o bumbong.
Most are cultivated in the Cordillera terraces
Seeds is from Philrice thanks to sir Meljohn Mabunga
