Within the vibrant campus of Saint Michael College of Caraga, where innovation meets ambition, Mr. Brylle Andre C. Forinas saw more than just a need—he saw an opportunity to serve both purpose and flavor on a single plate.
A proud graduate of the College of Business and Management and a distinguished recipient of the Mercurian Award (Commerce, Trade & Financial Success) under Odyssey 2025, Brylle was no stranger to turning ideas into action. He observed that many students and faculty members constantly searched for meals that were affordable, convenient, and satisfying—yet still flavorful and unique. Fueled by his entrepreneurial spirit and love for food, Brylle introduced a creative reinvention of a Filipino favorite: pastil.
What began as a simple concept evolved into BAF’s Food Hub—a food venture grounded in tradition yet driven by innovation. Brylle wasn’t content with offering the usual; he wanted something more. After countless trials and flavor testing, he developed a version that was not only budget-friendly but also rich in taste and quality.
And so, PASTILangLAMIA was born.
Served hot for as low as ₱39, this reimagined chicken pastil quickly gained popularity among students, faculty, and even visitors. It wasn’t long before Brylle expanded his offerings to include Special Tuna Pastil, Special Beef Pastil, Shawarma Pastil, Pastil Sandwiches, and even a jarred version—PASTILangLAMIA in a Jar—making his signature recipe accessible and easy to bring home.
But Brylle’s business wasn’t built on profit alone—it was anchored in purpose. Through his initiative, "Dos for a Cause," he donates ₱2 from every jar sold to support individuals and communities in need. It’s his way of giving back and ensuring that every purchase also nourishes lives beyond the plate.
What started as a small food venture born out of campus insight is now a thriving enterprise, with growing demand and eyes set on franchising and expansion. Brylle’s vision is clear: to take BAF’s Food Hub beyond school grounds and into communities across the region—and eventually, the nation—championing Filipino street food innovation.
“If you have an idea, take action immediately—don’t wait for someone else to get ahead of you.”
This is the mindset that transformed a humble pastil into a powerful brand and inspired many young entrepreneurs to follow suit. With passion, perseverance, and a purpose-driven mission, Mr. Brylle Andre C. Forinas is not just building a business—he’s creating a movement.
