Hindi kami madalas nag–Filipino resto pero triny namin out of curiosity sa place and menu.
Buti sinubukan namin kasi ANG OA! Ang OA sa sarap, promise! 😭🔥
Yung tipong wala ka lang expectation pero pag kagat mo mapapasabi ka ng “Paano ‘to niluto??” 😳👏

Fresh. Tamang tama yung dressing. Crunchy. Simple pero ang sarap.

🧀 Kesong Puti Fondue
Fondue?!? Grabe! 🤯 Now lang ulit ako nakakain ng kesong puti na ganito ka-sarap. Hindi ko siya matigilan.

🍚 Pinakbet Fried Rice
Akala ko ordinary toppings lang. Pero nung natikman ko… Whaaaaat 😭🔥
OA sa sarap. Hindi ko ma-explain kung paano napasarap.

🍖 Crispy Tadyang ng Baka
Expected ko matigas — pero NO.
Kahit tinidor lang, natatanggal yung laman. Malinamnam talaga. 💯

🍗 Kanto Style Fried Chicken
Eto yung pinaka-OA sa sarap!
Super crispy outside, super tender inside.
At yung SINIGANG GRAVY? Like WHAT 😳🤌
Lasang na-brine ng 24 hours. Solid!

True to its name — cloudy yung lasa. 😅
Di ko naubos kasi feeling ko malalasing na ako haha!

🍨 Frozen Brazo
May cashew brittle from Bataan, meringue, vanilla ice cream, and yema custard.
HEAVEN. 😭💛 Super sulit pang-dessert.

🍣 Tikim with KimKim: Japanese Fix at Sakura!

📍 Sakura Restaurant Subic

Now lang ulit kami nakabalik dito. Last time, hindi pa renovated — and wow, sobrang aliwalas na ngayon! Still has that authentic Japanese vibe we love.

🕛 We dined around 12:30 PM, sakto sa tag-ulan na panahon 🌧️ — perfect for warm, comforting food.

🥘 Gyu Yanagawa Don
— Savory-sweet beef with egg and veggies. Rich, comforting, and authentic-tasting.

🍱 Donburi Set
— Busog na busog ka na agad! Includes udon, fruits, and pickled veggies. Sulit for its price and variety.

🍜 Shoyu Ramen
— Sobrang linamnam ng broth. Sakto ang alat, at smooth sa lalamunan bawat higop.

🍖 Tonkatsu
— Hands down, better than Yabu’s version! Crispy outside, tender and juicy meat inside, with just the right fat layer. Solid winner.

🍣 Uni Sushi, Tuna Sushi
— Fresh and tasty, just the right flavor balance.

🍣 Tobikko Sushi
— Masarap, pero medyo nabibitin sa serving.

🦑 Ika Sushi
— Creamy, not malansa, and absolutely delicious! The kind you’d want a second order of. A must-try, especially kung fan ka ng sea urchin.

🍣 Alaskan Maki
— Surprisingly good combo of salmon + mango. Unexpectedly works well together!

🍨 Caramel Parfait
— Vanilla, caramel, tangerine, and wafers — a refreshing dessert. The mix of sweet and tangy is weird but surprisingly good!

☕️ Tikim with KimKim: Coffee Time at Hanan!

📍 Hanan Coffee Brewers – Balanga, Bataan Hanan Coffee Brewers

We’ve been fans of Hanan since their Doña Francisca branch, kaya excited kami sa new spot nila sa Balanga!

🕓 Visited around 4:30 PM — and here’s what we ordered:

☕️ Himalayan Salt Latte
— Tamang alat, creamy ang foam, and bold ang coffee flavor. Matapang — which is a plus for us!

🍵 Hojicha Latte
— Earthy, roasted, toasty — parang matcha with depth. Not your usual sweet latte.

☕️ Signature Caramel Latte
— Smooth blend. Yung caramel, may unique flavor — hindi sobrang tamis, at hindi nakaka-palpitate 😂

🥐 Pan au Chocolat
— Flaky, well-layered, and tastes like dark chocolate. Satisfying!

🥐 Croissant
— Classic buttery croissant. Nothing special, but goes well with coffee.

💸 Price? Slightly higher than their Doña Francisca branch, but reasonable considering the improved space and location.

📌 Tikim with KimKim: First Bite!

📍 Hanguk Dosirak – Limay, Bataan Hanguk Dosirak Restaurant

For our first food trip, we went Korean-style and tried some comfort picks:
🍜 Ramyeon
🍝 Jjajangmyeon
🍙 Cheese Kimbap

✅ Ramyeon – Mild lang ang available that day, but the noodles were cooked just right. Hindi soggy, hindi rin sobrang sabaw. Instant, yes — pero maayos ang pagkakaluto.

✅ Jjajangmyeon – Instant noodles din, but cooked well with just the right amount of sauce (we don’t like it too saucy!). Bonus points for the pickled radish na sinerve on the side — perfect pang-cut ng alat at umay.

✅ Cheese Kimbap – Winner! Lasang-lasa ang sesame oil, balanced yung flavor. Sayang lang at Tuna Kimbap wasn’t available during our visit.

💸 Price? Medyo mataas for instant noodle dishes, pero understandable dahil may free side dishes na walang extra charge. (Kimchi pa lang, panalo na!)

📣 Overall: Good spot for quick Korean cravings. Kung gusto mo ng Korean fix na di ka na magluluto sa bahay — this is worth the tikim! 🤤
