SUDDEN RICE PRICE INCREASE 🇵🇭🍚

The recent ban on rice importation in the Philippines has caused a noticeable surge in rice prices. With limited imported supply, the cost naturally goes up — and many consumers and traders are now feeling the impact.

This move is aligned with the President’s directive to prioritize and support our own local rice farmers. While this aims to strengthen local agriculture in the long run, the short-term effect is a tight supply of imported rice, leading to higher market prices.

Let’s continue to support our local farmers, stay informed, and hope for more stable pricing as local production catches up. 🌾🇵🇭
