EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 58
SEREIS OF 2026

AN ORDER TEMPORARILY PROHIBITING THE ENTRY OF LIVE SWINE INTO THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAMPLONA, CAGAYAN, IN ORDER TO SUPPORT LOCAL HOG RAISERS, MAINTAIN A SUFFICIENT SUPPLY OF PORK MEAT, AND PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY.

SECTION 1. The entry, transport, delivery or introduction of live swine originating from outside the territorial jurisdiction of the municipality of Pamplona, Cagayan into the municipality is hereby temporarily prohibited, subject to the exceptions and conditions provided in this executive order and applicable national veterinary and quarantine regulations.

This temporary prohibition shall apply to commercial, private, and other movements of live swine intended for trading, breeding, fattening, slaughtering or any other purpose, unless otherwise authorized under this order and by the appropriate regulatory authorities.

Section 2. Purpose and objectives

1. To support and protect the livelihood of local raisers and livestock producers;
2. To provide local hog raisers with a fair opportunity to market their livestock within the municipality;
3. To maintain a sufficient and stable supply of pork meat for the residents of Pamplona;
4. To promote the orderly development and sustainability of the local swine industry; and;
5. To prevent African Swine Fever infiltration within the municipality

SECTION 5. Recommended Reference Prices

70-79 kilograms ₱180.00/kg
60-69 kilograms ₱170.00/kg
50-59 kilograms ₱160.00/kg
