Six days of coffee, learning, stories, and shared experiences.
It was a privilege for us at Finca de Garces to spend September 1–6 with the 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐁𝐌𝐌𝐏𝐂) for a 6-Day 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
We spent the days learning together, from proper cherry selection and post-harvest handling, to fermentation, drying, processing methods, quality control, and the little details that make a difference in producing better and more consistent specialty coffee.
We are very grateful to Ma’am 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, for trusting Finca de Garces and giving us the opportunity to work with BMMPC. We truly appreciate the trust and partnership.
Our heartfelt thanks as well to Sir Ramil Garcia-valerio and Ma’am Novie Hormigas Valerio, for generously sharing your knowledge, experiences, and lessons from the field.
We hope this is only the beginning. We look forward to learning more, working together, and building a stronger partnership with BMMPC in the future.
Most of all, we look forward to producing quality coffee together, coffee that we can be proud to call from Pangantucan and Bukidnon.
