meager startup capital of only 600 pesos, the couple embarked on a journey that would forever change their lives. The idea to sell milktea emerged seemingly out of nowhere, and they quickly got to work. They gathered all the necessary materials that could be found in their kitchen to create their first batch of milktea. Little did they know that this humble beginning would mark the birth of RU-Tea Milktea. The initial response to their homemade milktea was encouraging. They received their first order, then a second, and soon enough, their friends started reaching out, expressing their interest in placing orders as well. Faced with the challenges posed by the pandemic, the couple decided to focus on delivery as the primary mode of reaching their customers. It wasn't an easy journey, but they took a leap of faith, believing in the potential of their venture. Although they faced many obstacles along the way, a few individuals believed in their dream and offered them financial support to kickstart their business. With these funds, they were able to slowly establish a small physical shop, which officially opened its doors in March 2021. What began as a home-based operation now had a physical presence, and the support from strangers turned into loyal customers and friends. As time went on, RU-Tea Milktea continued to grow. In August 2022, just a couple of years after their humble beginnings, they opened another shop in Tawala near Alona Beach and in September 2023 in Bil-isan fronting Cristal e-College, expanding their reach and customer base. The business was flourishing, and the couple's hard work and dedication were paying off. From a team of two, they now had seven dedicated teammates and working students who shared their vision and worked tirelessly to provide the best milktea experience for their customers. With each passing day, RU-Tea Milktea gained more recognition and praise, all by the grace of God and the unwavering support of their growing customer base.
