Every award begins long before the stage.

It begins in the countless hours spent perfecting a craft. Testing recipes. Refining techniques. Sourcing the right ingredients. Learning from failures. Believing that Filipino flavors deserve to stand among the world's best.

These photographs tell that story.

They capture years of dedication that led to presenting our products before the KATHA Technical Working Group, followed by the final presentation before an esteemed panel of judges composed of leaders in tourism, culinary heritage, retail marketing, and the food industry. It was an opportunity not only to present our products, but to share the vision, craftsmanship, and heritage behind every bottle.

There was a moment when we looked around the room and realized we were standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the country's most established companies. As a microenterprise, it was a humbling experience. Who would have imagined that a small business born from a passion for flavor would one day compete alongside industry giants for one of the highest honors in Philippine food innovation? That moment alone was already a victory.

This year, two Don Hulyo products were named Finalists at the KATHA Awards for Food, a recognition that celebrates outstanding creativity, innovation, and global market potential. For more than four decades, the KATHA Awards have recognized Filipino craftsmanship, design, and product excellence, honoring brands that elevate our heritage through innovation and world-class quality.

As we celebrate our anniversary under the theme "8 Years to Infinity," this milestone reminds us that the journey is far from over. Eight years represent more than time.
