This is my TOP #2 Favorite hotel Buffet ( #1 is Cafe Ilang Ilang). The salmon sashimi is undoubtedly fresh and was not left outside. The chef prepares the sashimi as you order. Crabs, roast beef, Indian Shrimp curry, Thai fish curry, cakes took the TOP spot.

Best ice cream I tasted - buko pandan and ube ice cream. Creamy but not overpowering, just enough sweetness. Authentic ube bits not just flavoring. I think I ate almost a pint. I make ice cream so I know what good quality ingredients are.

Best Tom Yum Goong by far compared to Mango Tree and Ja Tu Jak.

Albeit Som Tam lacks flavor from first harvest fish sauce, the Lapu lapu curry and Tom Yum gave layers of flavor from fresh herbs and spices. Thai tea is good, not too sweet, not bitter.

Hack: Separate curry sauce from Lapu-lapu fillets —- I don’t like curry sauce overpowering the taste of lapu lapu

The beef Wellington in itself is delish, but I would have wanted a different sauce, maybe mushroom gravy. I ended up eating without the sauce. Lemon honey salad is recommended; it has candied pecans and blue cheese. Didn’t order Caesar Salad due to bad reviews. Grilled salmon was cooked to perfection and has lemony-buttery flavor. Toffee pudding is highly recommended for sweet endings.

5-star service! The staff were trained for months even before the opening.

The music was just not appropriate for the venue.

Price is similar to 5-star hotels!
