Our Story
Incorporated in 1997, Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) was initially established as a poultry integrator company operating in Cebu and Davao, carrying the Bounty Fresh brand together with its sister company BFFI.
In 2002, the company went into full operation as a poultry integrator covering provincial Luzon and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao. It engaged the best qualified professionals in the industry and embarked on a program to modernize operational capability and market expansion, led by the current President and General Manager Ronald R. Mascariñas.
In 2008, BAVI realized the completion of poultry operations integration cycle by venturing into the food retail sector with its first-ever roasted chicken brand—Chooks-to-Go.
Roughly a decade in the industry, Chooks-to-Go captured the Filipino palate with its innovative take on roasted chicken. It boasts of its juicy, tasty oven-roasted chicken that is masarap kahit walang sauce. Now, it is the largest chain of roast chicken in the country with over 1,000 outlets dotting the archipelago.
After this major feat, in 2013, BAVI launched Uling Roasters™, its own take on the traditional litson manok. Uling Roasters’ quirky and humorous tagline “Di ‘raw’ masyadong masarap pero pwede na” created a buzz among off- and online consumers. The growing patronage was however cemented by the products familiar yet unique flavors. To date, Uling Roasters™ has over 300 stores nationwide.
In 2015, BAVI introduced anew a roasted chicken brand with Reyal™ Litson Manok, ang litson manok na may hanep na sauce. Its butterfly-cut chicken is best paired with its signature chili honey garlic sauce. This combo helped Reyal™ carve out its niche in the rotisserie industry. A little over a year after its launch, Reyal™ now has over 100 outlets across the country.
To fulfill its vision to provide freshly cooked food of the best value in every neighborhood, BAVI continues to create and launch brands for younger target markets. It recently introduced Marô, which offers wide array of food choices ranging from fish to the all-time Filipino favorite chicken; and Snok™ by Chooks-to-Go—coined from "snack na manok", which basically offers a combination of snacks with chicken as the main product.
Twenty years into the business, BAVI now has a nationwide business network with branches in key cities and presence across the country.
