🔴 MEIJI RED — Best for Matcha 🍵
A richer, creamier milk that works beautifully with matcha. The fuller milk taste helps soften matcha’s natural bitterness and gives the drink a smoother, more indulgent mouthfeel.

🔵 MEIJI BLUE — Best for Coffee ☕
A lighter milk profile that pairs nicely with coffee without overpowering its roasted flavor. For everyday coffee drinks, it’s a practical option while still giving you a smooth, milky finish.

📌 What’s the actual difference?

The two variants are different milk formulations, so their taste, richness, and mouthfeel can vary. The Red is generally perceived as the richer/creamier option, while Blue has a lighter, cleaner milk profile.

✨ My personal pairing:
🍵 Matcha → Meiji Red — richer & creamier
☕ Coffee → Meiji Blue — smooth & practical

Basically, you can use Red for coffee, but personally, I find the difference less noticeable because the stronger coffee flavor tends to mask the milk’s richness.

first of all, thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been showing my small business. i truly appreciate each and every one of you. 🥹

i’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries about the old formulation of oatside. unfortunately, it’s still out of stock since it’s the version that most people prefer over the new formulation.

while waiting for it to become available again, i’m also trying to source other brands and look for hard-to-find deals so i can continue offering quality products at reasonable prices.

one thing i can promise is that once the old formulation is back in stock, i’ll do my best to keep the price as fair and reasonable as possible.
