Tierra de España carries a carefully curated selection of Spanish charcuterie – including Jamon Serrano, Jamon Iberico, Salchichon Iberico, Chorizo Iberico, Chorizo Pamplona, Queso Manchego and more. We also manufacture a line of all-natural chorizo products using top-quality Philippine pork spiced with imported Spanish ingredients. Because they contain no preservatives whatsoever, our locally produced chorizos must be frozen, and provide a much healthier alternative to the canned options typically found in supermarkets. Tierra de España was established in 2005 by a group of fine-food enthusiasts led by Miguel Vecin, who had just returned to the Philippines after residing in Spain for 20 years. Having determined that there was an actual demand – aside from his own – for high-quality imported Spanish food products, he began the importation of selected items, which were met with great appreciation by a receptive local market. From the early days until today, QUALITY has always been Tierra de España’s highest priority. Because there is a huge difference between the natural curing process and that used in artificial ham cellars, we import only naturally cured meats and sausages from some of Spain’s best-loved brands. All our imported meats are certified and sealed by the Regulatory Board of the Protected Designation of Origin. New shipments of our products are flown in monthly and stored whole in our temperature-controlled facilities. To further preserve freshness and flavor, meats are sliced and vacuum-packed only as needed.
