Franklin and Susie Haight, built a homestead in their 24-hectare farmland. It was described as a grass- thatched house and addition of log cabins, that later served as Inns and a health resort. In time, this place was called Haight's place. Although most of the original structures built were destroyed during the World War II, Grandma Susie's house-as known to her great-grandchildren, remains resistant/ indestructible. It has served several family occasions and gatherings, witnessing the most wonderful and memorable events of the Haight family along with their friends. Over the years, as the younger generation wanted to keep the family ties close, they decided to improve the place for more social activities and to share the experience as well like staying in Grandma Susie's house, the Haight's place and Paoay as a whole- the cold crisp air, the farm life, and solitude.
