From Kitchen Nightmares to... Well, Slightly Less Chaotic Cooking: A Grade 11 Cookery Recap!
Looking back at day one of Grade 11, some of us literally had zero clues about what the TVL-Cookery track actually meant. Some honestly thought it was just eating and having fun. Boy, were we wrong! 💀
From appetizers all the way to desserts, our kitchen was basically a reality TV disaster show. The intense cramming we all faced—like that one time one of our classmates bought butter instead of sour cream😭😭, serving half-raw dishes because the time limit felt like 5 seconds, making food so salty it could preserve a mummy. Baking cakes that turned into literal "sapatos" HAHAHAHAH. And who could forget that one time some of us were literally crying in the kitchen just because we had to kill a live chicken for our main dish?! 🐔
We were constantly fighting for survival against burning pots and ruined recipes. But somehow, against all odds, we actually learned how to cook!
We managed to survive the burns, the stress, and the sheer panic. A massive salute to our legendary subject teacher and also our kinda adviser back when we were still in Grade 11 (na parang bang adviser sang 11 kag 12)! Talk about absolute multitasking mastery—handling both Grade 11 and Grade 12 students simultaneously while guiding us through the chaos without losing his sanity. 🫡💼 ps. rantado mga students ni sir
Special shoutout also to our amazing teacher intern, Miss Tine! We really miss her—balik ka nalang national b, Miss? Thank you for capturing all our chaotic, panicked, and triumphant moments on camera while we were busy trying not to burn the school down (OA). Your pictures are the only proof that we actually made it through! 📸
