Good news, Northies! 👀 The Molito specials are finally available at ONO Aloha Kitchen ‘s Greenhills branch, so you no longer have to travel down south to try them.

I started with the Luau Corn Ribs, which were smoky, savory, and packed with umami from the furikake and parmesan. The Tuna Kinilaw was another standout with the fresh chopped tuna with a creamy, tangy sauce that was so refreshing. I also loved the Kamano Nachos which was loaded with their signature salmon poke, spicy mayo, garlic mayo, and fresh toppings that made every bite so flavorful.

For mains, the Salmon Katsu was crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside, paired with homemade mayo and ikura. The Fried Saimin was another favorite. I loved the springy ramen noodles coated in a rich umami sauce with Spam, vegetables, soy egg, and chili oil on the side for an extra kick. I also had the Garlic Spam Fried Rice, which was super garlicky and comforting.

To end the meal, don’t skip the Pandan Dessert. It’s creamy, coconutty, and has a delicious mix of smooth and crunchy textures from the haupia namelaka, sesame crumbs, sponge, and coconut brittle. They also have signature cocktails that pair perfectly with the new dishes.

Finding a healthy breakfast that’s affordable and actually delicious isn’t easy but this one from Kenny Rogers Roasters Philippines makes it simple.

Tried the Spinach & Mushroom Omelette from Kenny Rogers Roasters and it’s both nutritious and delicious, a balanced meal with protein, greens, fruits, and a drink to keep you full and energized. Plus, it has 588mg of potassium (about 29% of your daily needs) to help support your energy throughout the day!

If you’re trying to build better habits without the hassle, this is a solid place to start. Just make sure to catch it early since it is served until 10AM only.

I found this new must try menu item from Gang Gang Chicken and it’s the new Fried Chicken Sisig Rice Meal.

It comes with their signature crispy fried chicken chopped into bite sized prices and turned into sisig with a flavorful and savory sisig sauce. The rich and creamy flavor makes it pair perfectly with a side of rice. Plus, you can even get it in a box for sharing with the Fried Chicken Sisig Box. Super flavorful, satisfying, and honestly feels like it’s about to be my new favorite.

Found a spot in Estancia that’s doing Asian-Western fusion dishes really well!

CLAW may have only opened last year, but it’s already serving up some seriously interesting dishes that blend bold Asian flavors with Western comfort food.

A few standouts for me were the Kogi Burrito packed with beef short rib, kimchi fried rice, and cheese, the Seafood Boil loaded with fresh shrimp, mussels, and crab in a flavorful sauce, and Something to Oink About, which comes with tender braised pork belly buns, pickled vegetables, and a sweet-spicy hoisin sriracha sauce.

I also got to try their new Mexican Baja menu. The Carne Asada Quesadilla was cheesy, savory, and super satisfying, while the Birria Nachos came loaded with beef, cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, and a dipping sauce that made every bite even better. The Shrimp Taco had a nice kick from the Old Bay sauce, and the Steak Cantina Bowl was a huge, filling meal with steak, cilantro rice, avocado, and pico de gallo.

For drinks, don’t miss the Hokkaido Milk Fizz if you’re a matcha fan, or the Anti Oxy for something fruity, sweet, and refreshing.

Their cookies have that perfect texture, crispy and buttery on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with mix-ins in every bite. They only have 3 flavors right now, but honestly, they’re all so good it’s impossible to pick a favorite.

The Valrhona Chocolate Chip Cookie is rich, decadent, and loaded with chocolate. It’s definitely for those with a sweet tooth. The Walnut Oatmeal Raisin Cookie has a delicious buttery cinnamon flavor with a mix of chewy and crunchy textures. And if you’re looking for something different, the Black Sesame White Chocolate Cookie is a must-try. The roasted, nutty black sesame flavor comes through beautifully and pairs so well with the creamy sweetness of the white chocolate.
