Minsan, I think strength isn’t really about how much pain you can endure.
Sometimes, it’s also about knowing why you’re willing to endure it.
Kasi hindi naman lahat ng mahirap, kailangan nating iwasan.
There are things that challenge us, test our patience, and push us out of our comfort zone. And sometimes, those are exactly the things that help us grow.
Pero I think, there also comes a point na kailangan mong huminto sandali and ask yourself:
“Mahirap ba ito dahil may growth na nangyayari… or tinutuloy ko na lang kahit hindi ko na alam kung bakit?”
For me, malaking difference ’yon.
Because pain can have meaning when it’s connected to something you genuinely value.
And pressure can also be useful when it pushes you toward something you consciously chose and truly believe in.
Pero part din ng growth yung pagiging aware.
Knowing when to keep going.
Knowing when to adjust.
Knowing when something needs more effort…
and when it simply needs more thought.
Hindi naman weakness ang mag-question.
And choosing a different direction doesn’t automatically mean you’re giving up.
Minsan, it simply means mas naging intentional ka na kung saan mo gustong ilagay yung time, energy, and effort mo.
Kasi life will always have its difficulties.
We can’t avoid every challenge.
So maybe “choose your hard” isn’t really about choosing the easier life.
It’s about choosing the kind of difficulty that actually has meaning for you.
Yung kahit mahirap, kahit nakakapagod, kahit may moments na mapapatanong ka kung worth it pa ba…
you can still honestly say:
“I know why I’m doing this.”
